Mediante el Decreto de Alcaldía Nº 002-2018-MDDV, la Municipalidad Distrital de Deán Valdivia, dispuso el embanderamiento general del distrito por conmemorarse el 197 aniversario de la independencia nacional.
El documento indica que tanto los vecinos, como los locales públicos y privados coloquen la bandera respectiva como muestra de su participación cívica.
Se señala además que el incumplimiento del decreto pudiera hacer que los infractores sean pasibles de multas y sanciones.
